Time registration: Overtime

If you use automatic time registration, overtime can be registered in the system via the Overtime function.

Overtime occurs when work hours are recorded in excess of what is specified in the employee's automatic schedule. The extra time is displayed in the Overtime function along with any other recorded overtime.

Example

  • Per works 20 hours a week.
  • He has an automatic schedule from 8am-12pm, Monday through Friday.
  • On Monday, April 20, Per works two extra hours in the evening and clocks in

The two extra hours are outside the planned schedule and are therefore registered as overtime.

When the immediate manager or other person in charge needs to have an overview of how much overtime has been in the department, as well as which employee has registered overtime, the manager can access Time registration and then click on overtime :

You will then receive an overview showing exactly how much overtime and on what date the overtime was registered.
