Manager Response In the settings for an Engagement template, you have the option to enable or disable the Manager Response feature. If you enable this feature, the employee's manager can access the Engagement once the employee has completed it and add answers and comments. The manager thus answers the same questions as the employee, which makes it possible to compare the answers at the end. Read more about setting up Engagements in the article 'Create an Engagement'. When you enable the Manager Response, you must also choose who should be the default managers on the Engagement template. In the following example, this is, for instance, the employee's immediate manager.
You can define this entirely as you wish. The 'Manager Response' feature can be used, for example, if you have an MUS (Employee Development Interview) Engagement. In this case, the employee answers the Engagement, and then the manager can access it, view the answers, and respond themselves. The employee will not be able to see the manager's responses. Once both parties have responded, they can jointly write a conclusion for each question (e.g., after or during the MUS conversation). So when an employee has answered an Engagement, the manager can receive a notification. Read how to set up a notification on an Engagement here. The manager can then access the Engagement either via the employee's master data or under the Engagement tab -> Associations (This can be particularly useful if the manager needs to respond to more than one Engagement).

Then the person clicks on 'Compare/Conclude' and 'Enter Manager Response
Afterwards, the Engagement will open, and the manager will have the opportunity to fill in the answers. Once the Engagement has been answered by both parties, they will be able to access 'Compare/Conclude' and here they can add a conclusion to each question as well as a summary for each page.

Additionally, it will also be possible to fill in the summary directly with either the manager's or the employee's responses and then adjust them as needed.
